Take-off with KREMPEL:
Setting the course for growth in aerospace
The KREMPEL-GROUP signals further growth: the independent producer of modern materials and high-grade semi-finished products invested several million Euros in composite production in the years 2013 and 2014. Successful certification in line with DIN EN 9100 confirms the aerospace expertise of the internationally acting company group since February 2015.
"The quality of our aerospace products is based on over 30 years of experience with demanding projects in the area of High End Composites. This know-how is now evidenced by the DIN EN 9100 certification. As a medium-sized family business, we are now a player in the "Champions League" of industry giants," says Carsten Scherff, managing director, responsible for production and quality at KREMPEL GmbH, "and this is important for our aim of gaining new markets in the aerospace industry." "The potential for this is mirrored in the development of aerospace technology," explains Jürgen Buchner, head of the KREMPEL Composites division, "in Germany alone, the aerospace industry reached average growth rates of eight per cent annually over the past few years. Civil aviation is a strong accelerator, not only in this country, as more and more people fly worldwide."
The first KREMPEL aviation products proved themselves in action long before DIN EN 9100 was introduced: the company has supplied support rods for various Airbus types since the beginning of the 1980s. Ever more aerospace companies trust in the KREMPEL product quality. Airbus Operations, Airbus Helicopter, Diehl Aircabin, Premium Aerotec and others belong to our current customer base.
