With POWERBOARD AK the KREMPEL-GROUP has successfully extended its range of high-end electrical insulating materials for use in oil-insulated power transformers. Since 2011, this new product family has been approved by almost all the leading manufacturers of power transformers. The main features of our cellulose-based pressboard and laminated board are highest purity and flexibility.

 

 

Beside presspaper and pressboard, the KREMPEL-GROUP production range of electrical insulations includes multi-layer insulations, prepregs, mica products, electrically conductive materials, insulating sleevings, tapes and cords, pultruded plastic profiles, fibre-reinforced plastic sheets and moulded parts. These materials have been used for decades in finding solutions for insulation in motors, generators, transformers, capacitors and other electrical equipment.
